Finally published
in a medical journal!
The double-blind randomized clinical study conducted at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital with Bio-K+ CL1285® (the same as the over-the-counter product) and which proved the effectiveness of the probiotic in preventing the diarrhea associated with antibiotics (AAD), was published in the Canadian Journal of Gastroenterology. This makes
Bio-K+ CL1285® the only probiotic to have obtained conclusive clinical results using the same product as sold over the counter, and at the same dosage as suggested on the label.
It should be noted that the product used for the clinical study is exactly the same, and at the same dosage (one pot of 50 billion bacteria per day), as the product available in stores and pharmacies.
